Z&M Group, Inc. (“Z&M Group,” “we,” “us”) operates this site as an informational presence for our enterprise IT strategy and platform-modernization work. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site and respond to the people who contact us. We do not sell personal data.
What we collect
What you send us. When you use the contact form, we receive the details you enter: your name, company, work email, and message. If you email us directly, we receive whatever your message contains. That is the only personal information you actively give the site — there are no accounts, logins, or payments.
Technical data. As with most websites, our hosting generates standard server logs — such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — for security and reliability. We also use basic, privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate usage. This site does not set cookies and does not track you across other websites.
Fonts. The site loads the Manrope typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser requests the font files from Google, which receives your IP address as part of that request. No cookies are set through this.
Why we use it
We use what you send us for a single purpose: to read your inquiry and respond to it. We use technical data to keep the site secure and to understand, in aggregate, how it is used. We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
Who processes it
A small number of service providers handle data on our behalf, only so the site can function:
Formspree (United States) delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox; your form details pass through its service for that purpose.
Our hosting and email providers store the site and the messages you send us.
We share personal data only with providers like these to operate the site, or where we are legally required to. We never sell it.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry messages for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a reasonable business record, then delete them. Server logs and analytics are retained only for a short operational window.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email info@thezmgroup.com and we will handle it.
EU and UK (GDPR). Because we work with international organizations, you may be located in the EEA or the UK. If so, our legal basis for handling your inquiry is our legitimate interest in responding to you, or your consent in reaching out, and your data may be processed in the United States. You also have the right to object, to request portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Virginia (VCDPA) and other US states. If you are a Virginia resident, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal data, and to appeal our response. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising or profiling. Similar rights may apply in other US states.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep what you send us safe.
Children
This site is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. When we do, we will revise the effective date above.
